In addition, the service plans to increase the number of “dark kitchens” at dark stores, where ready-made food can be ordered along with groceries. It is noted that over the past year in Moscow their number has increased from 10 to 32. Soon this format will appear in St. Petersburg, the press service noted.

At the same time, the update also awaits the visual style of Lavka. A “heart” will appear in the logo, which will symbolize care for customers and “delivery of reasons to fall in love with life every day.” “Heart” will become the basis for advertising campaigns, content in social networks and applications, clarified in “Lavka”. The new slogan of the service now sounds like this: “This is life.”

The service application will also be updated. It will include more recommendations for buyers and tools for personalizing purchases. To do this, Lavka uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, the company explained.

At the end of 2022, Yandex’s revenue in the E-Commerce, Ridetech and Delivery segment grew by 63% year on year, including due to Yandex.Market and Lavka. In the first quarter of 2023, revenue in the same segment increased by 60% compared to the same period in 2022, says in the company’s financial statements.

The number of Lavka darkstores in Russia at the end of Q1 2023 was 461, the company said. They also noted an increase in daily orders on darkstores – by more than 30% in the first three months of this year. The share of ready-made food on the service from total sales is 20%, the press service added.
