Today, Yango operates in more than 600 cities in 17 countries, including Africa, Latin America, Europe and others. The service was launched in 2011. Yango includes not only a taxi ordering service, but also scooter rental, delivery services, and a grocery ordering service.

Yango was not the first service that Yandex launched in the UAE. In November 2021, the company began testing the delivery of products from the Carrefour supermarket chain in Dubai using courier robots. In addition, in February 2022, Yandex.Routing, a service for planning delivery routes, entered the UAE market.
