X5 Group increased revenue in 2023 by 20.6% – Kommersant

Retailer X5 Group (MOEX: FIVE), which manages the Pyaterochka, Perekrestok and Chizhik chains, increased revenue by 20.6% in 2023, to RUB 3.14 trillion, compared to the previous year. This is stated in the company’s report (.pdf).
The revenue of Pyaterochka stores amounted to 2.43 trillion rubles, Perekrestok – up to 384.32 billion rubles, Chizhik discounters – up to 118.2 billion rubles. The retailer’s digital business revenue increased by 75.7%, to RUB 123.6 billion. Comparable store sales grew 9.6% in 2023, with average ticket up 4.8%.
In the fourth quarter, X5 Group’s revenue amounted to RUB 877.9 billion. This is an increase of 24.7% compared to the period from October to December 2022. Sales increased by 13.2%, the average bill by 9.9%.
In 2023, X5 Group opened more than 3 thousand new stores. In total, the company currently manages 24.4 thousand retail outlets.
