‘Wrong Bees’: Winnie the Pooh horror film canceled in Hong Kong

In Hong Kong, cinemas have refused to show the horror movie “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey,” Reuters reports, citing the tape’s distributor.
Distributor VII Pillars Entertainment stated that he did not know the reason for the incident. The film, according to the original plans, was supposed to be released on March 23 in 32 theaters.
The Film, Newspaper and Articles Authority of Hong Kong told the agency that it had issued a certificate of approval to the applicant. It is noted that the decisions of Hong Kong cinemas to show films with a certificate of approval are purely commercial. Cinemas themselves did not respond to Reuters’ request for comment.
