Work was stopped at a number of mines in the Kemerovo region due to violations – Kommersant

Rostekhnadzor and the court suspended part of the work at several mines – Raspadskaya, MMK and Severny Kuzbass – in the Kemerovo region. As assistant to the head of Rostekhnadzor Andrey Vil wrote in Telegram channelthe cause was various violations.

During the period from February 29 to March 6, the Siberian Department of Rostekhnadzor issued 11 protocols banning some work in the mines of Kuzbass. For 30 days, the court suspended the construction of a central ventilation slope and the operation of the Uskovskaya (Raspadskaya) mine’s belt conveyor. The reason is the operation of technical equipment in violation of industrial safety requirements, non-compliance with the rules when using explosion protection means for mine workings, violations during degassing of coal seams.

The court suspended the construction of a ventilation drift at the Berezovskaya mine (Northern Kuzbass) for 90 days. The reason is the lack of documentation for mining operations, failure to comply with the rules for degassing coal seams in an area dangerous due to sudden outbursts of coal and gas, lack of a forecast for outburst hazards, and the use of a road-going machine with a faulty explosion-proof irrigation system.

The installation of split-type furnaces at the Chertinskaya-Koksovaya mine (MMK-Ugol) has been suspended. Experts identified an excess of the permissible concentration of methane, a dust-explosive state of the mine workings, non-compliance with the rules when securing the mine workings, a violation of equipment safety, and a lack of the estimated amount of air for the mining workings.

At another mine of the same company – named after. Tikhov – the construction of two conveyor drifts was stopped due to exceeding the permissible concentration of methane, as well as violations in the operation of aerogas control, and failure to comply with the requirements for degassing of coal seams.

Rostekhnadzor also suspended the installation of a gas drainage furnace at the mine named after. Kirov (SUEK-Kuzbass) – also due to exceeding the permissible concentration of methane and violations in the operation of the aerogas control system. The fastening of the conveyor slope at the Spiridonovskaya Mine was stopped due to the lack of the estimated amount of air for the mine workings and non-compliance with the rules when fastening the mine workings.

Moreover, for one week of January (from January 11 to January 17) Rostechnadzor gave out Kuzbass coal mines received nine orders to suspend part of their work. The service issues such orders regularly.
