Aeroflot suffered the most, as it built its work on the basis of transit passenger traffic between East Asia and the countries of the West, which stopped since the spring of last year. The company had to significantly rebuild the route network and master new types of maintenance of foreign aircraft.
In an interview with Vedomosti, the general director of the national carrier, Sergei Aleksandrovsky, spoke about the first firm contract under the new conditions for the supply of Russian aircraft, about advancing negotiations with foreign lessors, raising salaries for airline employees and connecting Pobeda to the Aeroflot Bonus program.
