Wildberries confirmed the closure of several pickup points

Marketplace Wildberries will suspend cooperation with some points of issue of orders (POI), goods from them are now being transported to other points of issue, informed a company representative in a commentary to RIA Novosti.

“As we warned yesterday that with “partners” who choose uncivilized forms of dialogue, threaten company representatives and attempt to disrupt the work of the office, cooperation will be suspended for security reasons. Several such points were closed, from which we export goods that belong to us and entrepreneurial sellers,” they said.

Buyers were informed about the transfer of goods to other pickup points, the company added.

Today the Telegram channel “Wildberry. Truth of Employees” reported that in several Russian regions started strike of Wildberries pickup point operators. In particular, some pickup points do not work in St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg and other cities.

At the same time, Wildberries itself denied the information about the strike of some employees of the points of issue of orders in a number of regions of Siberia, writes “Kommersant”. At the same time, in Moscow, some pick-up points continue to work. RIA Novosti writes that there are no protesters in the main office of the company. The day before, March 14, in Wildberries also declaredthat the information about the “strike” and the closure of the pickup point is not true, they continue to work regularly.

On March 14, it became known that the prosecutor’s office of the Moscow Region would check information about the violation of the labor rights of Wildberries workers on behalf of the Prosecutor General’s Office. The press service of the State Prosecutor’s Office explained that the audit was organized based on information posted in the media about the violation of the labor rights of Wildberries employees, including “illegal deductions of funds from their wages.”

The owner of one of the items before told RIA Novosti that since August, Wildberries has introduced penalties for the pickup point for the return of defective goods in the amount of 20% of its value. And already last week, the size of the sanction increased to 100%. According to another representative of the PVZ, the marketplace does not get in touch with entrepreneurs and does not explain changes in work.
