The Wildberries marketplace has begun testing a new logo, but there is no talk of a full-scale rebranding yet, according to the platform’s press service.
“We have developed several logo concepts, we are testing one of them. We receive and evaluate customer feedback. The new logo is used to a limited extent in some new pickup points and on the international website,” the office said (quote according to TASS).
The new logo includes an updated font – it is more fluid, and the letters in the logo are lowercase. The press service clarified that this is testing, and there is no talk of “full-scale rebranding yet.”
In March, a Wildberries representative told Vedomosti that the marketplace will start selling smartphones, TVs and refrigerators under its own brand (STM). According to him, the cost of production will be “in the middle price segment.”
It was specified that about 100 items of household appliances and electronics under private labels, including refrigerators, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, blenders, TVs, will be sold on the marketplace, and tablets, laptops and smartphones will also be added to this list in a few months.
