Mosstat summed up the salary of Muscovites for the past year. The average monthly salary of employees of all organizations in Moscow amounted to 122.8 thousand rubles, and increased by 9.7 percent compared to 2021.
The average number of employees of all organizations of the capital in 2022 amounted to 5.3 million people. This is 2.5 percent more than in 2021.
If we take large and medium-sized organizations, then last year they employed 3.8 million people – 4.3 percent more than in 2021. For these organizations, the average monthly salary amounted to 151 thousand rubles and increased by 10.4 percent compared to 2021.
Above the average level of salary among employees of organizations engaged in mining (305.5 thousand rubles), financial and insurance sectors (250.2 thousand rubles), as well as in the field of information and communications (177.7 thousand rubles).
Over the past year, the wages of people who grow seedlings have grown the most – by 4.3 times. In second place are those employed in the production of batteries and rechargeable batteries (3.7 times). Employees of organizations for the extraction and enrichment of coal and anthracite are slightly ahead of them, their salaries increased by 3.6 times.
