Anodina Tatyana Grigoryevna was born on April 16, 1939 in Leningrad in the family of a military pilot. She graduated from the aviation department of the Lviv Polytechnic Institute with a degree in design engineer (1961). Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor (1981).

After graduation, she worked at the Research Institute of Civil Aviation, where she successively held positions from engineer and head of the testing department to director of the Scientific and Experimental Center for Automation of Air Traffic Control.

At the same time, she worked at the USSR Ministry of Civil Aviation, where she held the positions of department head, deputy head, head of the Main Technical Directorate. She was the main customer of aircraft design projects, her duties included the analysis and evaluation of scientific, practical and design developments.

After the collapse of the USSR and the formation of the CIS, it took the initiative to create the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) – a supranational executive body responsible for flight safety in the field of civil aviation in the CIS countries. Since 1991, she has served as chairman of this organization. In 2012 hit in the rating of the most influential women in Russia, compiled by Ogonyok, Ekho Moskvy and RIA Novosti.

In 2015, the IAC lost its authority to certify aircraft in Russia amid the bankruptcy of one of the largest private Russian airlines, Transaero, which was controlled by the family of Ms. Anodina. These functions were transferred to the Federal Air Transport Agency. The main functions of the committee were the development of recommendations and instructions, as well as the investigation of accidents.

Tatyana Anodina is a laureate of the State Prize of the USSR (1979), awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, III degree (1999), and honorary diplomas of the Government of the Russian Federation (1998, 2001). Officer of the French Legion of Honor (2013). Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation (1997), author of more than 100 scientific papers, 25 monographs and textbooks.

She was married to Pyotr Pleshakov (1922-1987), USSR Minister of Radio Industry from 1974-1987. Son – Alexander Pleshakov, founder of the first Russian private airline Transaero.
