Zhukov Mikhail Alexandrovich was born on June 10, 1967 in Moscow. In 1990 he graduated from the Faculty of Aircraft Radio Electronics of the Moscow Aviation Institute. In 1997 – MIRBIS business school at the Russian Economic University named after G. V. Plekhanov, in 2000 – the Program for Executive Development course at the IMD business school in Lausanne.
Since 1989, he began working for the international business association Interatomenergo. At first he worked as an engineer, and from 1990 to 1992 he served as a project manager for the assembly of personal computers. In 1992–1994 he was the manager of the Moscow office of Soft-Tronic GmbH. In 1994 he moved to IBS, and until 1998 he served as director of the network solutions division. From 1998 to 2003 – Deputy General Director of the organization. In 2003–2006, senior manager of Helios Computers LLC. In 2007–2008, he worked as a project manager and project office manager at SIBUR.
In 2008, he became CEO of the recruiting company HeadHunter. In 2012, he joined the board of directors of the company ITSK (now Gazpromneft – Digital Solutions), in 2019 – on the board of directors of HeadHunter, and three years later – CIAN.
On May 9, 2019, HeadHunter held an IPO on the NASDAQ stock exchange. In two days, the company increased its capitalization from $675 million to $837 million. On September 16 of the same year, this figure exceeded $1 billion.
In January 2023, he left the post of CEO of HeadHunter and took the position of president of the organization.
