British telecommunications company Vodafone Group and Hong Kong holding CK Hutchison reported to merge their UK mobile networks Vodafone UK and Three UK respectively. The transaction will be carried out through an exchange of shares, in the new company Vodafone will own a 51% stake, and CK Hutchison – 49%. The merger will create the UK’s largest mobile operator with 28 million subscribers.
