Director of the Russian Museum Vladimir Gusev, who has held the position since 1988, will leave it due to the completion of his employment contract, informs “Fontanka”.
Now Gusev will be the president of the Russian Museum. Now the ex-director will coordinate the restoration work at the objects of the museum’s property complex, as well as the development of the museum’s branch network.
It is not yet known who will take the place of Vladimir Gusev, but Anna Tsvetkova, Deputy General Director for Development, Educational and Educational Activities, will temporarily perform his duties.
Recall, on February 9, it became known that Zelfira Tregulova was leaving the post of general director of the State Tretyakov Gallery due to the expiration of the contract. Her post was taken by Elena Pronicheva. According to Treuglova, she learned about her dismissal from the media.
Tregulova has worked as director of the State Tretyakov Gallery since 2015.
