Vkusville acquired 95% of the oldest corporate catering service in Russia

JSC Vkusvill has closed a deal to acquire 95% of the food delivery service to Obed.ru offices, the company told Interfax. The remaining 5% is retained by Cyprus Transportation Investments Management. The company did not disclose the amount of the transaction.
According to a representative of Vkusvill, the deal to purchase Obed.ru will help strengthen the company’s position in corporate catering. “We are focused on developing the company, strengthening the brand, expanding cooperation with partners and finding new solutions in both the B2B and B2C segments,” said a company representative.
“Obed.ru” is the oldest corporate catering service in Russia, it has been operating since 2004. The platform cooperates with more than 700 employers, including JSC Glonass, SuperJob and Gismeteo.
Vkusville was founded in Moscow in 2012 by Andrey Krivenko. Manages more than 1.85 thousand stores and more than 150 dark stores (stores for assembling delivery orders, without access for customers). The revenue of JSC Vkusvill in 2023 increased by 27%, to 297.5 billion rubles.
