In stores of the Vkusvill network in Moscow and the Moscow region, alcoholic beverages were removed from sale, representatives of the retailer told Kommersant. The measure is due to technical reasons.
“For technical reasons, we are temporarily removing alcoholic beverages in Moscow and the Moscow region. This is due to software reinstallation. The process itself will take no more than 20 days,” the company said.
Revenue of the Vkusvill retailer in 2022 amounted to 204.8 billion rubles, which exceeded the figure for 2021 by 26%. Nevertheless, the network, like other market participants, is forced to look for alternatives to the usual foreign technical equipment.
