“Vkusno – and that’s it” wants to register a trademark in Uzbekistan

The Russian LLC Sistema PBO, which owns the Vkusno-i Tochka chain, has filed an application for the registration of two trademarks in Uzbekistan. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the data of the Uzbek Ministry of Justice.
The application appeared in the ministry’s database on 28 December. The company wants to register two trademarks – Mazali va nuqta and Lazzatli va nuqta (they both translate as “Delicious – and that’s it”).
McDonald’s chain in May announced about leaving the Russian market. The company’s assets were bought by entrepreneur Alexander Govor, who managed 25 McDonald’s restaurants in Siberia under a franchise. The network in the Russian Federation was renamed “Vkusno – and the point”, its first restaurants in the country opened on June 12. In December FAS allowed chain owner to buy a McDonald’s logistics partner.
