The network of fast food restaurants “Vkusno – i Tochka” has opened two enterprises at the Teboil gas station network in Moscow and St. Petersburg, the company’s press service said.
“Together with partners, we will continue to actively expand our network in Russia. We plan to open several more co-locations in Moscow, the Moscow Region and St. Petersburg before the end of the year,” said Karina Pogosova, Senior Vice President for Network Development and Franchising (quote according to TASS).
The American chain of fast food restaurants McDonald’s suspended the work of its establishments in Russia on March 14, after the start of a special military operation in Ukraine. McDonald’s reserved the option to buy the business back within 15 years.
On June 12, the first establishments under the new name “Tasty – and that’s it” opened in Moscow. The menu of the restaurant has remained the same, with the exception of a few positions. On June 22, the first 12 establishments of the chain opened in St. Petersburg, and two more in the Leningrad Region.
After the start of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, Shell announced that it was withdrawing from joint ventures with Gazprom and ending its participation in the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline. In early March, the company announced a phase-out of Russian oil products, pipeline gas and LNG, and in May, 400 filling stations and a plant in Russia were suspended.
