“Vkusno – and that’s it” has resumed the work of more than 500 enterprises since the opening

The network of fast food restaurants “Vkusno – i Tochka” opened 500 restaurants after the resumption of the network on June 12, informs TASS with reference to the press service of the company.

“Two months ago in Moscow, the grand opening of the Tasty – and the point enterprise took place on Pushkinskaya Square. Since that moment, the company has resumed the work of more than 500 enterprises and opened the first outlets under the new brand, hired more than 10,000 new employees and served more than 50 million people throughout Russia,” the chain’s press service said.

The remaining outlets will be opened in September, in the future the network of fast food restaurants will be increased to a thousand within a few years, the company said.

In addition to the reopening of old points, work is also underway to resume the operation of all services. The company has already re-launched the “Vkusno – and that’s the point” application, retaining the previously received bonuses under the loyalty program, and the cafe concept was resumed on August 11, the company said.

McDonald’s has closed its restaurants in Russia since March 14, and on May 16 the company announced its withdrawal from the Russian market. In mid-May, the fast food chain announced the sale of 718 restaurants in Russia to local licensee Alexander Govor. The company reserved the option to buy the business back within 15 years.

On June 12, the first establishments under the new name “Tasty – and that’s it” opened in Moscow. The restaurant’s menu has remained the same, with the exception of a few positions, which it was decided to exclude. On June 22, the first 12 establishments of the chain opened in St. Petersburg, and two more in the Leningrad region.
