VK announced the merger of assets into the Social Platforms and Media Content and Ecosystem and Integrated Services business groups. They will combine key products and services of the holding. This is reported press office companies.
The Social Platforms and Media Content business group will include: VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Zen, VK Video, VK Music, VK Clips and VK Messenger. The group was headed by Stepan Kovalchuk, Senior Vice President for Media Strategy at VK.
The Ecosystem and Integrated Services business group will include Mail.ru mail services, Rustore app store, VK ID, VK Pay, educational products and new businesses. It will be headed by VK Senior Vice President for Business Development and Investment Alexander Aivazov.
Products and services not included in these groups will continue to develop within their divisions. The areas of responsibility of senior vice presidents of VK will remain the same.
In addition, Anton Frolov, the head of Zen, was appointed VK vice president for AI, content and recommendation services. He will be engaged in artificial intelligence technologies, building a single platform for recommendations and content search for all VK products. At the same time, he will retain the position of Zen CEO.
