Victor Pelevin’s new novel is called “Journey to Eleusis” and will go on sale on September 29 at 20:23 Moscow time. About it reported press service of the book publishing house “Eksmo”, with which the writer has been collaborating in recent years.
“The events of the great predictor’s novel will develop in the same universe as his previous books KGBT+ and Transhumanism Inc,” the press service added.
Pre-order of the 20th novel by Victor Pelevin will begin today, September 8. “Journey to Eleusis” will be available for the first time in electronic and audio formats simultaneously with the printed version, reported in the press service of the book service “LitRes”.
Viktor Pelevin is called one of the most popular contemporary Russian writers – his previous book “KGBT+” came in among the top ten best-selling in 2022 on the liters service.
For more than 20 years, Mr. Pelevin did not appear in public. He was last seen at a literary symposium in Tokyo in 2001. For the writer’s 60th birthday, director Rodion Chepel shot a documentary film “Pelevin”, in which he collected comments and memories of people familiar with Viktor Pelevin.
