On October 20, the Russian airline Utair filed a claim with the Arbitration Court of the Tyumen Region to recover 175.9 million rubles from the Armenian aircraft maintenance company Aquila Technics LLC. This follows from information in the file cabinet case that caught my attention TASS.

According to the Arbitration Court, Utair has already filed lawsuits against the Armenian company twice: 5 And 10 October. Initially, the court ordered Utair to justify jurisdiction of the case by October 20. The second time, the claim was also denied.

The court documents say that on May 30, 2022, Utair and Aquila Technics LLC entered into an agreement to supply engines to Tyumen airport for the airline’s aircraft. However, it follows from the statement that the Armenian company did not deliver and did not return the money received for the engines.

Aquila Technics LLC is based at Yerevan Zvartnots Airport. The company services Boeing 737CL and Airbus A320 aircraft from Air Armenia, Air Arabia, FlyDubai, Aegean, Qatar Airways.
