Urgant was not allowed to return to the screen, canceling the premiere of his New Year’s fairy tale

TV presenter Ivan Urgant said that one of the Russian online cinemas that announced it “return” on the screen with the New Year’s project, deleted the page with the new show. It was planned to show the audience a fairy tale about the adventures of the heroes of the Soviet animation. In addition to Urgant, who played Carlson, Alexei Serebryakov, Danila Kozlovsky, Alexander Petrov, Sergey Burunov, Ksenia Rappoport, Ekaterina Varnava and others took part in the project.
“The tale was really taken off the air, – confirmed Urgant RBC. – Why the project was removed, I have no idea. I rate these actions at four with a minus.
The TV critic Arina Borodina was the first to announce the cancellation of the TV show with Urgant on the social network. According to her, the artist until the last moment was not announced as the leading actor and appeared only in the poster published the day before.
In the spring of 2022, Urgant disappeared from the screens of Russian TV channels, immediately after criticizing the Russian special operation in Ukraine. At the same time, the official dismissal of the TV presenter was not reported.
On the social network on December 31, Urgant addressed the fans with the following words: “Guys, I almost forgot. We don’t see each other often this year. But this does not negate the main thing – I love you very much.”
