Uralkali signed an agreement on the supply of potassium to India

Uralkali announced the signing of a contract with the Indian importer of mineral fertilizers Indian Potash Limited (IPL) for the supply of potassium chloride. The contract is valid until September 30th. The price of potash fertilizers supplied to India will be $422 per ton on the terms of delivery to the buyer’s port. The total amount and other details in press release are not given.
In May 2022, Uralkali Trading (a subsidiary of Uralkali) by the end of the year signed contract for the supply of potassium chloride with the Indian company IPL. Then the price of potash fertilizers supplied to India was $230 per ton under the same conditions. At the end of 2022, prices for the main types of fertilizers corrected against the background of the recovery of their production in Europe and may continue to decline in 2023.
