Uniper announces the arrival of the first shipment of LNG from the United States to Germany

The first shipment of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the United States arrived in Germany at the terminal in Wilhelmshaven, reported in the press service of the German energy concern Uniper.

The LNG supplier was the American company Venture Global Calcasieu Pass. Uniper reported that about 97.1 million cubic meters were loaded onto the ship. m of natural gas, which is “enough to supply electricity to about 50,000 German households for one year.”

At the end of August Uniper requested from the state development bank of Germany to extend the credit line for another 4 billion euros, since the company has already completely used up the previous loan for 9 billion euros.
