State company “Ukrenergo” reportedthat stopped the export of electricity. This is due to the fact that it is necessary to provide internal needs and reserves for the evening hours of maximum consumption.
Since April 12, Ukraine has started exporting electricity to Poland and Moldova. This became possible after the Ukrainian energy system, damaged due to hostilities, had “the necessary additional reserve capacity.”
In October 2022, the export of electricity from Ukraine was stopped due to rocket attacks from Russia. At that time, numerous long-term outages and failures were observed in the country’s energy system due to massive strikes on power plants.
