Ukraine added PepsiCo and Mars to the list of “international war sponsors”

The American companies PepsiCo and Mars were included in the Ukrainian list of “international sponsors of the war,” the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) of Ukraine reported.
“Despite claims that they are downsizing their business, ceasing promotional activities and production of their products, they [PepsiCo и Mars] continue to work in Russia, paying taxes and supporting [российскую] economy,” the statement said.
The NAPC said that in addition to increasing their income in Russia, companies continue to look for new employees in the country.
July 3 Ukraine replenished its list by the British corporation Unilever. The basis for inclusion in the list was the work in the Russian Federation. The Ukrainian department indicated that the company promised to suspend the import and export of its products to the Russian market, while since the start of the military operation in Ukraine, the company, according to the agency, has only increased profits.
The Ukrainian list was also replenished with Chinese companies, – on August 17 in the register turned out the Alibaba group, which also owns the AliExpress marketplace. At the end of June, the Geely auto concern was included in the list.
