The justice of the peace of the court district of the Tagansky district of Moscow fined the American streaming service Twitch for 4 million rubles. for refusing to remove materials with false information about the activities of the Russian army on the territory of Ukraine, a Vedomosti correspondent reports.
“Recognize Twitch Interactive, Inc guilty of committing an administrative offense under part 2 of article 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (failure to remove prohibited content), and impose an administrative fine in the amount of 4 million rubles,” Judge Timur Vakhremeev announced the decision.
At the meeting, it became known that the protocol for the service was drawn up because of the refusal to remove false information about the special operation carried out by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, nuclear war, and general mobilization. This information was revealed by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation for not deleting content on four links.
