Today, April 24, the American broadcaster Fox News announced about ending his partnership with TV presenter Tucker Carlson. Mr. Carlson is a popular presenter and political commentator known for his conservative views and, among other things, for being an active critic of US President Joe Biden. Fox News said in a statement that the channel and Mr Carlson “have agreed to end their partnership.”
Fox News last week agreed to pay out-of-court compensation of $787.5 million for such cases to Dominion Voting Systems, a manufacturer of voting machines. The company filed the lawsuit after it was repeatedly claimed on air that its voting machines were “twisted” so that Donald Trump would lose the 2020 presidential election. It is not known whether the termination of cooperation with Mr. Carlson is connected with this case.
