Famous American TV presenter Tucker Carlson is launching his own streaming service Tucker Carlson Network (TCN).
Mr. Carlson, who was in April fired with Fox News after the trial surrounding the storming of the Capitol, for several months he hosted his own show on the social network X, where all content is published for free. Now Mr. Carlson is launching a full-fledged service, for access to which you will need to pay $9 per month or $72 per year. The service should launch today, reports The Wall Street Journal, citing own sources. By midweek there should be five different shows streaming. These will include interviews, short films and monologues. At the same time, the service will be located directly on Tucker Carlson’s website, and some of the content will remain free.
According to WSJ sources, all content previously released on X will be available on the streaming service. In addition, Mr. Carlson intends to continue publishing on the social network those materials that will be released on the streaming service for free.
Among the materials that remain freely available will be an interview with Donald Trump, which the 45th US president attended instead of participating in the debate in the Republican Party primaries. The interview was watched by 250 million people, and the Republican debate by 2.5 million. In early November, Mr. Trump statedthat he would consider Tucker Carlson for the post of Vice President of the United States if he wins the upcoming elections.
