Tsiskaridze: “Friends, with deep pain and sorrow, there are no words”

The ballet dancer reported that the performance “Vain Precaution,” scheduled for March 23 at the Mikhailovsky Theater in St. Petersburg, is postponed. He also expressed his deepest condolences and called on people to help and support each other.

Nikolai Tsiskaridze admired our people, who unselfishly at the time of the tragedy were ready to lend a strong shoulder: “After all, everything consists of small steps. For example, Yandex made trips from Crocus free. We supported the victims, rescuers, and eyewitnesses – this is an important step and synonymous with sensitivity,” the Russian performer shared on Telegram.

Tsiskaridze also said that the two-act ballet with his participation will be postponed due to tragic circumstances: “‘A Futile Precaution’ planned for today is being postponed.”

It’s difficult for the artist to find words, and he simply regrets that now when he hears the word crocus, what pops into his head is not the silhouette of a beautiful flower, but “the consequences of a monstrous evening.”

“I want to support everyone who has suffered and is experiencing…. Your NMC,” he concluded the publication with these words.
