Trust Bank sold the Timan-Pechora Gas Company (TPGC) to Verde Generation Engineering, according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. Shares of TPGC, according to the registry data, were re-registered today, July 1. In the press service of the “Trust” “Interfax” confirmed the completion of the transaction. The deal amounted to 1 billion rubles.
“Despite the difficulties in the gas sales market, we managed to find a specialized investor for TGK. This asset has great potential, which the new owner will have to use,” the credit institution said.
Verde Generation Engineering was registered on May 15th. Its owners are Andrei Zozulya, Kirill Ratnikov and Irina Smetleva.
Trust acquired TPGC in 2020 from FC Otkritie bank for RUB 898 million. The company has been put up for auction since June 2022, but the bank could not find a buyer. The former head of FC Otkritie, Mikhail Zadornov, said that, according to the agreement, if Trust sells TPGC above the acquisition cost, then “the upward movement will be divided fairly between the two banks.”
The Timan-Pechora Gas Company is exploring 13 sites, including those located in Komi. The total gas reserves in the largest areas studied by TPGC amount to 59 billion cubic meters. m, and the total recoverable reserves of liquid hydrocarbons – 7 million tons.
