In Novorossiysk, oil shipments were stopped due to the storm, said Transneft official representative Igor Demin. According to him, tomorrow, November 28, there may be a “window in the storm” for resuming supplies.

“In fact, in November, storm warnings issued by the port captain stopped shipments for more than 17 days. Now the wind is subsiding, but the wave remains visually 2–3 m,” said TASS Mr. Demin.

As he clarified, the storm is predicted to last until the end of the month. Today, November 27, the suspension of oil shipments from the sea terminal near Novorossiysk announced Caspian Pipeline Consortium. According to the company, unfavorable weather conditions have developed in the area, with winds reaching 22–24 m/s.

The day before, a storm and hurricane hit Kuban and Crimea. Due to bad weather, about 500 thousand residents of Crimea remained without electricity. One man died.
