A representative of Transneft, Igor Demin, said that an attempt was made to carry out a terrorist act against the Druzhba oil pipeline system at the Bryansk loading station. According to him, no one was hurt.
According to the Telegram channel Base, the incident occurred in the village of Sven today, May 10, early in the morning of May 10. Three empty tanks for storing oil products were fired upon – holes of about 10 cm were found on them. According to the channel, two strikes on the tanks were made at about 5:00 and with a difference of 20 minutes.
Mr. Demin confirmed to TASS the information about the attack and added that the circumstances of the incident were being investigated by “competent authorities”. “Yes, indeed, early this morning there was an attempt to commit a terrorist act against the Druzhba oil pipeline system at the Bryansk loading station. As a result, no one was hurt,” he said.
February 1 Transneft informed about an attempt to shell the Novozybkovo oil refinery in the Bryansk region, which is part of the Druzhba oil pipeline. The company said that they tried to carry out the shelling from the side of Ukraine. No one was injured, the incident did not affect the operation of the oil pipeline.
