Transneft (MOEX: TRNFP) and Kaztransoil signed an agreement on the transit of oil through Russia in 2024, the Russian company reported. An updated memorandum of cooperation was also signed. Conditions in message press services are not disclosed.

The documents were signed as part of the visit of the Transneft delegation to Kazakhstan. During the visit, a meeting was held between the president of the company, Nikolai Tokarev, and the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. They discussed interaction in the field of transportation of energy resources and prospects for cooperation within the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.

Kaztransoil in August reportedthat in 2024 it is planned to send 1.2 million tons of Kazakh oil to Germany via the Druzhba oil pipeline.
