The Russian authorities can open the roads of new regions for travel to Crimea and attract two large landing ships (LDS) of the Ministry of Defense to transport tourists from the Krasnodar Territory to the peninsula and in the opposite direction. This was announced at a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with members of the government on July 4 by Minister of Transport Vitaly Savelyev. Such measures are necessary to unload approaches to the Crimean bridge clogged with personal vehicles.

Since July 1, a traffic jam has been growing at the entrance to the Crimean Bridge in the Krasnodar Territory due to the inspection of luggage in cars. By July 3, it reached 13 km, travelers waited for six hours, by the morning of July 4, about 1,500 cars stood in an eight-kilometer traffic jam.
