The work of the main part of Tochka Bank’s services has been restored, a representative of the credit institution told Kommersant. The cause of the failure was problems in the operation of one of the bank’s external data centers.
“This afternoon there was a technical failure due to which all Tochka services did not work. One of the external data centers has fallen. Now the main part of the services has been restored,” the bank told Kommersant. A representative of the credit institution noted that problems with the external data center affected not only Tochka services, but also a number of other companies.
About malfunctions in the operation of Tochka services, including when logging into your personal account and sending SMS, users started report from 12:00 Moscow time. By 16:40 Moscow time, the number of complaints recorded by the Downdetector failure service reached 150. As of 18:40 Moscow time, the number of complaints decreased until 16.
