Tinkoff launched the sale of currencies of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Brazil for individuals

Tinkoff Bank (MOEX: TCSG) launched the sale of three currencies for individuals – the Kyrgyz som, the Tajik somoni and the Brazilian real. The credit institution also reported on the resumption of sales of the Thai baht and Azerbaijani manat.

Tinkoff Bank clients will be able to open accounts in these currencies, as well as pay for goods and services with a bank card with the Mir payment system in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan from an account in national currencies without conversion.

Also available are “international incoming and outgoing transfers of Thai baht without conversion, cash withdrawals in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan at ATMs that accept cards of the Mir, Elcard (Kyrgyzstan) and Amonatbank (Tajikistan) payment systems.” To do this, you must first open a foreign currency account.

In November Tinkoff launched money transfers for individuals in Thai baht through the international SWIFT system. The bank makes money transfers to 36 countries; using the SWIFT system, money can be sent to 33 destinations, including Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
