Tinkoff Bank has stopped making transfers in dollars and euros to Mongolia, Serbia, as well as to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Representatives of the bank explain that it is possible to send a transfer in yuan to a number of credit institutions in these countries.
“Due to the imposed sanctions, SWIFT transfers may be frozen by the counterparty bank. Therefore, we temporarily do not make transfers in some currencies and to some banks, ”said TASS Tinkoff Bank support operators.
On February 25, Tinkoff Bank came under EU sanctions. On February 26, Tinkoff Investments suspended trading in foreign securities and the euro. On March 3, the credit institution stopped foreign exchange transfers in GeorgiaMarch 5 – in Turkey.
