Tinder will stop working in Belarus on February 15 – Kommersant

The American company Match Group, which owns the dating application Tinder, has decided to stop operating its services in Belarus. According to the portal myfin.by, Belarusian users received the notification. Access to Tinder in Belarus will disappear on February 15.
“From February 15, you will not be able to use Tinder services or log into your account in Belarus. Until this time, you will be able to create pairs and chat,” says Match Group.
After this date, Belarusians will not be able to subscribe to Tinder or make purchases. Users were advised to spend all super likes and boosts before this date or request a refund. Subscriptions due to end after February 15th will not be automatically renewed.
In a similar scenario, Tinder left Russia. In April 2022, Tinder disabled paid options for Russians and stopped accepting payments from Russian cards. On June 30, 2023, the service finally left Russia: the application was removed from Google Play and the App Store. The app no longer allows you to swipe profiles. At the same time, previously formed pairs and dialogues were preserved.
