Three new programs of concessional lending to small and medium-sized businesses have been launched in Moscow

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin informed in his Telegram channel about the launch of three additional concessional lending programs for small and medium-sized businesses in the capital.

Members of the Moscow Innovation Cluster with investment programs in the fields of IT, science and industry will now be able to receive a loan for investment purposes at a rate of 3 to 4.5%. Borrowers who use intellectual property rights as collateral will be able to apply for loans at a rate of up to 3%, and the rate on venture loans for high-tech start-ups MIK will be 10%.

“The city compensates 15% of the principal amount in order to make such a loan even more affordable,” Sobyanin added.

At the end of June Sobyanin informedthat over 11 years, investment in Moscow’s fixed capital has grown 6.9 times – up to 30 trillion rubles. Last year, Moscow received more than 5.9 trillion rubles. as an investment, which is 2.2% more than in 2021. The main areas for investors were the transport and construction industries, manufacturing enterprises, as well as scientific and IT sectors, Sobyanin said.

At the end of March, he said that the bulk of the investment was associated with large and medium-sized businesses, which invested about 4.4 trillion rubles. in the purchase of machinery and equipment, the construction of non-residential buildings, landscaping, etc.
