But this intervention of the comedian deeply shocked the viewers. Yesterday, at the end of the day, France Télévisions apologized in a press release, dissociating itself at the same time from its new recruit. “The management of France Télé and the teams of ”Télématin” regret that a chronicle with a humorous vocation has offended many viewers”.
Remarks reiterated this morning by the two flagship presenters of the program. “A few hours from the opening of the trial, we are deeply sorry. We kindly ask you to accept our apologies and want to assure them of our support, our admiration and our solidarity in the face of the new ordeal they will go through. That’s it, it’s said”asserts Thomas Sotto. On a more personal note, Julia Vignali confides that “The attacks have a very special resonance for her” and judge “there is a time for everything” in the face of these tragedies. “It takes a lot of hindsight to be able to laugh about it one day and sometimes you realize that it is simply impossible”concluded the presenter before launching the summary of the program.
