Thermal coal prices hit lowest since January 2022

The price of thermal coal in Europe is declining following the spot prices for gas and has already reached its lowest level since January 2022, according to the ICE exchange.
The cost of energy coal futures with delivery in June to the ports of Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Antwerp (ARA) on May 25 for the first time this year fell below $100 per 1 ton, and on May 26 fell to $98 per 1 ton. mid-January last year.
