The volume of agreements concluded at the EEF amounted to 3.8 trillion rubles

Based on the results of the 8th Eastern Economic Forum (WEF) 373 agreements were concluded in the amount of 3.818 trillion rubles. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev. “373 agreements worth 3.818 trillion rubles have been signed,” he said. In total, more than 7,000 people from 62 countries took part in the forum.

According to Trutnev, the authorities do not promise the implementation of projects worth 3.8 trillion rubles. “The yield of useful product” is about 70%, he specified.

A year earlier, during the 7th WEF 290 agreements were concluded for a total amount of 3.27 trillion rubles, reported Trutnev. The 2022 forum was also attended by more than 7,000 people from 68 countries, including about 1,700 business representatives from 700 companies. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the largest foreign delegations were from China, Myanmar, Mongolia, India, Armenia and the Republic of Korea.

This year WEF took place from September 10 to 13 in Vladivostok. On September 12, Russian President Vladimir Putin took part in the plenary meeting of the EEF. During his speech, the head of state called the Far East a priority for Russia for the 21st century.
