The United Far Eastern Airline received a quarter of the shares of JSC Yakutia

The block of shares of the Yakut republican JSC Yakutia Airlines was transferred to the unified Far Eastern airline Aurora, reported Embassy of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD). A 25% plus one share package was received by the subsidiary JSC Aurora Finance.
The unified Far Eastern airline Aurora was established in 2021 on the basis of the former subsidiary of Aeroflot of the same name. The largest shareholder is the Sakhalin Region (49.99%), ten more regions of the Far Eastern Federal District had 5% each. Less than 1% belongs to the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic. The unified Far Eastern airline includes regional airlines: Khabarovsk Airlines, Yakutia, Polar Airlines, Kamchatka Aviation Enterprise, Chukotavia.
The fleet of a single company includes 145 aircraft. November 16 “Aurora” began flights on the route Khabarovsk-Harbin. In total, the carrier plans to deliver 2 million passengers this year.
Yakutia Airlines was established in 2002 on the basis of Sakhaavia and Yakutsk Airlines.
