The total capitalization of the cryptocurrency market as a whole has reached $2 trillion – it previously reached this level in April 2022.
The Bitcoin price has been growing with some fluctuations since January 2022. Since the beginning of this year alone, it has increased by 21%, and last year by more than 150%. Experts attribute the growth in recent weeks, among other things, to the entry into the market of several spot exchange-traded funds based on this cryptocurrency. In addition, long-term growth is due to the fact that halving is expected to occur in April, when the rewards for miners on the network will be halved. This happens every four years, and this event always causes a long-term increase in the price of Bitcoin.
