On Monday, January 22, the Supreme Court of Russia issued a decision in the case of termination of the activities of the media outlet – the electronic periodical “Information Agency “Khakassia””. The claim, which was previously filed by Roskomnadzor, was satisfied. “Kommersant-Siberia” sent a request to Roskomnadzor about the reasons for this decision, the media management did not answer the call.
The registration certificate for the media outlet “Information Agency “Khakassia”” was received in 2006. According to SPARK-Interfax, the founder is Valentina Ustyakhina. In 2022, the net profit of the news agency amounted to about 2 million rubles.
In 2023, the Khakassia news agency actively covered the campaign for the election of the head of the region and deputies of the Supreme Council of the republic. The Khakassia news agency journalist was not accredited to the last session of the regional parliament, the publication reported.
