The State Commission on Radio Frequencies (SCRF) will study the possibility of using electronic jamming equipment by enterprises so that they can fight drones, the Ministry of Digital Transformation reported. The ministry announced that the as-yet-unestablished working group will present results in the second quarter.

“The Ministry of Digital Transformation receives requests from businesses, in particular from the owners of CII facilities (critical information infrastructure.— “b”), with a request to determine the procedure for using electronic countermeasures. The SCRF will create a working group on this issue and present the results in the second quarter of 2023,” reads a message on the Mintsifra channel in Telegram. The minutes of the SCRF meeting by the time of publication were not posted on the website of the Ministry of Digital Development.

Now only law enforcement agencies can use means of counteracting drones.
