However, as members of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection point out, “the technology for the production of non-alcoholic beer is similar to the production of alcohol,” since ethanol is removed from drinks artificially. “Such drinks cannot be considered completely free of alcohol,” parliamentarians are convinced.
