From November 18 on the TV channel “Russia” – the premiere of the new season of the successful world music show “Duets”.

The main intrigue of the grand show, in which the most popular artists of the country take part, is who is hiding behind the mirror wall, who will become an unexpected duet partner for each participant? Until the very last moment, no one even guesses with whom they will have to sing a famous hit or favorite song. Anyone can hide – a legendary artist, a promising singer, a friend, a relative, or even a former love. The secret is strictly observed until the very premiere, genuine emotions capture the audience, and the voices in the duet sound with special passion – this is how they sing when a dream suddenly comes true: to sing along with this mysterious performer.

In the new season of the show, viewers are waiting for meetings with popular singers and actors. And not only! This time, among the participants are those who you definitely don’t expect to see on stage! This show also has an emotional intensity, the effect of surprise: the artists themselves do not know with whom they will sing. And someone has never met on stage! Everyone is very worried, because they need to perform a song with a live orchestra, often not their own“.

Sergey Lazarev: “Our tandem with Kolya Baskov has been tested for years: we went through four seasons of the show “Come on, all together!” Together, we are starting the second season of the show “Duets”. We really feel each other on stage, we support, we can make fun of each other. I think that not everyone Kolya allows to make fun of himself, just like me. And Kolya and I do it in a kind way, sometimes very sharp, but interesting. The uniqueness of this project, first of all, is that it has intrigue! Artists really do not know until the last with whom they sing. And I’m sure that the audience sings along with the participants, sitting at the TV screens, because “Duets” – It’s also a folk show!»

In each episode, unexpected vocal experiments will be performed live to the accompaniment of the orchestra. The stars will have to perform a song that they may have only heard before in their headphones or sang in karaoke, and doing it to the music of a live orchestra is not an easy task. In addition, all musical numbers are recorded in one take, the artists do not have the opportunity to cover the song. Just one motor for each duo!
