The Dailes Theater announced the death at the age of 75 of the Soviet and Latvian actress, Honored Artist of the Latvian SSR Lilita Ozolini. A wide audience remembers her for her leading role in the TV series Long Road in the Dunes.
The theater said in a statement that the actress passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 5.

Lilita Ozoliņa made her film debut in 1967, playing in the film “When Rain and Wind Knock on the Window” directed by Alois Brench. In 1980, he took the actress to the series “Long Road in the Dunes”, which became very successful in the USSR and glorified Ozolinya. After that, she received roles in such popular films as the musical A Brief Instruction in Love, the comedy The Personal Life of Santa Claus, and the political detective The Double Trap.
After the collapse of the USSR, the actress played on the stages of the Dailes Theater and the Riga Theater of Russian Drama.
